1970s HALLMARK / LJN TOYS *LOT OF 8* VINTAGE CAR IN GREAT CONDITION! In 1974, greeting card giant Hallmark licensed a line of die-cast metal cars from LJN Toys in New York called them ROAD ROVERS. Each car was individually hand painted in Hong Kong, making each and every car slightly unique! The cars were given a lumpy, cartoonish look reminiscent of animation of the day such as Schoolhouse Rock and The Electric Company. Condition : These cars have retained their original paint throughout with some minor spots of play wear on all sides, as seen in the pictures provided. Hand painted details are in good condition. Wheels and undercarriage are in nice shape and tires roll well except for Fudge Druge. In very nice condition considering these are 50 year old toys.
